I'm pretty sure I figured that one out.......Thats a new one to me, either that or I dont get on here enough.......

Not a major issue, but the arm rest storage top does not open to a full 90 degrees. I opens about a two thirds of the way then stops.
is this normal, or is there some kind of fix or am I just asking silly questions cause I.m a new owner.

I had my car for several months before I discovered that it actually does open all the way so I can sympathize with you. After you lift the lid, pull it towards you a bit and then up again. It will open all the way, it's just a weird design.

You might want to fill out your profile so folks know what year and model you've got.My '00 Vert did the same, and I never did get it fully vertical. But on my '02 it hinges open nicely in one motion. I think the double-jointed hinge might need some lube.

Am I glad that question was asked, as mine has been a pain to open since the conversion was completed in Australia. I need to do the opposite as the car is now right hand drive, so I need to push the lid away from myself to get the second stage working? The lid was not changed during the conversion process.
