Looking at some of the initial track numbers, it seems as though the superchargers are more bark than bite. They're putting up big dyno #'s, but it doesn't seem that the HP is carrying over to the track well. Does anyone have some #'s that show this to be incorrect?
The current tuners have strokers running mid 10's w/o nitrous. (What is the fastest normally aspirated time, BTW?) I haven't seen any ATI car in the 10's so far. There was a post here last week where a 570hp ATI car was running 11.80s. Much lower HP strokers are running much quicker than that. Am I just missing the other times?
I was originally planning on a heads/cam/ATI instead of a stroker, now I'm leaning back to the stroker side of things.
That's seems to be the case from everything i've seen todate. Not sure why. I assume it's due to the fact that the ATI is a centrifical (sp?)SC and it has to build boost as RPM's increase, where as the strokers start out with mucho HP/TQ.
I wonder what the Magnuson SC will be putting down at the track since it's a roots type SC? Either way i got my eye on the Magnuson SC for now. I'm hoping we'll all see some actual performance data soon.
