I was driving down the road in my 98 C5 on the hottest day of the year here when all of a sudden hot air started blowing out the center duct and hot air out the driver side duct. Both the passenger ducts were blowing cold air. The A/c has the dual control.... Any chance the driver side control went nuts? Any suggetstions on how to trouble shoot/ fix? Thanks!!

One thing to also check is your codes, are there any on the HVAC area? Do you know how to do this? Not being sarcastic, but you need to check these and post back.
Just brought mine to the dealer for the same problem. They said the system was low on refrigerant. The system was recharged and now the A/C works good as new. The bad news is they said the compressor is leaking and will need to be replaced.
i have seen the DIC codes listed here on the forum. it will help you diagnose the problem. it could be low refrigerant or the actuators are stuck open. There is a pattern that others on the forum have worked through. Go to the search topic in the red bar above this thread, put your problem in and hit enter. You'll be surprised. You can also go to www.stengel.net/diccodes/htm for more info. You have to decipher the numbers coming up on the dashboard, this site has the help. Hope the site is up still. Also, just as a check, make sure the passanger temp setting is dead center. This will ensure that you have total control from the driver side.
