Default 1997 C-5 Widnshield Wipers

My windshield wipers will work now that I changed the fuse but they wont go to the resting position. Nothing has happened that would have caused this. Is there anything I can do or is this an electrical issue?

Theres a cam assy on top of the motor. It might need lube. Heres the install procedure with the cam set up. PM me your emaik address and I will try to send it with the pictures"

Wiper Motor Crank Arm Replacement
J 39232 Wiper Transmission Separator
J 39529 Wiper transmission Installer
Removal Procedure
Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement .
Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.



Using the J 39232 , disconnect the wiper transmission from the wiper motor crank arm.



Remove the wiper motor crank arm screw.
Remove the wiper motor crank arm from the wiper motor.
Installation Procedure




Install the wiper motor crank arm onto the wiper motor.
Position the park latch 4 - 5 mm (0.16 - 0.20 in) from the park tab.




Notice
Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.


Install the wiper motor crank arm screw. Tighten
Tighten the screw to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).





Using the J 39529 , connect the wiper transmission to the wiper motor crank arm.
Install the wiper motor module. Refer to Wiper Motor Module Replacement .
Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
Install the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement .
Inspect the wipers for proper operation.
