Default If blowing out of all vents no matter what u select its the vacuum line deteriorated

See reply to other post here about AC blower. Probably battery acid deteriorating vacuum line going thru firewall to control under passanger side. Use windshield washer hose to replace parts of lines rotted out and flush under battery and tray with baking soda and hot water.

That's what happened to my AC a few months back. I ended up replacing the vacuum line from the nipple in back of the manifold to the vacuum line near the firewall. Solved the issue and my AC runs great again. Imagine the dealer would have charged a pretty penny to diagnose and fix .

Replaced leaking battery with a red top optima which is supposedly less prone to leakage - one things for certain, be sure to periodically pull your battery and battery tray to check for acid damage. Much damage can be done to the electronics as well as vacuum lines.

First of all, why would you pay for a repair that was not done? Does the speed of the fan change when adjusted? Do you have a manual or auto system? Does the flow of air go to the proper vents as selected and the flow is just always weak?

i can hear the change of speed on the blower but the air is not coming out of the center vent strong at all . i was at the dealer an they thought all it needed was freon an they told me the orifis screen was a little cloged an they replaced that when he showed me it i could hardly see anything in it . after that they told me they would have to remove the dash at a cost of 1800.00 i said get the f**k out of hear an left still have the same problem

I bet this is your issue...and if they didn't fix the issue why did you give them any money at all.

If you cant sellect a vent location,,,,

YOU HAVE A VACUUM ISSUE!

Examine the vacuum at the vacuum resivour in the passengers fender well.... Make sure your getting vacuum from the back of the intake manifold!!!!

I think I have a vacuum issue as well. Mine blows normal on short trips but if I take say a 3 hour trip it'll loose it's strength somewhere in between and come back later. You guys think this is a vacuum issue?

Sorry to hijack your thread OP!
