Default Loose steering question.

I noticed this in the morning while driving on the highway at about 85mph, when hit a small bump or road seem the steering gets loose for a second. It's like a brief loss of control. Especially around the turns.
I don't remember feeling this before. I have been thinking getting the Bilstien HD's. Doe's anyone know why this can be happening?
I have an 02 convertible auto with 20k. The tires are like new Michelin Pilot Sport runflats w/30 psi. All stock suspension. Alignment done 2k miles ago. Thanks

There's a lot of possibilities to cause this and shocks are one of them. Lose tie-rod ends is another, bearing/assemblies although 25k would tend to rule those out. Need to get under there and examine things.

Yeah, I guess the shocks would be a good start. The roads here in NY are horrible. I'm sure something could have loosend up a bit. Thanks

If you find its the shocks try the C6Z shocks. They will fit and ride and handle great and are cheeper.

I've had my C6Z06 shocks for a couple of months and I really love them. The ride is so much better and the handling is better than the stock shocks. It's really a good bang for the buck.

100% OEM bolt in improvement. Purchase a crow bar so you can pry the grin off your face when you feel the improvement!!

Contact Gene or Patrick www.gmpartshouse.com for an excellent deal on four new C6Z shocks!! Consider the deal he has on C6 Z51 Swaybars also. With the shocks and sways, you will think you have a new car!
