I noticed this in the morning while driving on the highway at about 85mph, when hit a small bump or road seem the steering gets loose for a second. It's like a brief loss of control. Especially around the turns.
I don't remember feeling this before. I have been thinking getting the Bilstien HD's. Doe's anyone know why this can be happening?
I have an 02 convertible auto with 20k. The tires are like new Michelin Pilot Sport runflats w/30 psi. All stock suspension. Alignment done 2k miles ago. Thanks
There's a lot of possibilities to cause this and shocks are one of them. Lose tie-rod ends is another, bearing/assemblies although 25k would tend to rule those out. Need to get under there and examine things.
I've had my C6Z06 shocks for a couple of months and I really love them. The ride is so much better and the handling is better than the stock shocks. It's really a good bang for the buck.
