Default Loosing communication

I have a 1998 Auto Coupe. It has been loosing communication with the LDCM and the REF receiver. I have checked the body grounds, replaced the driver door harness and the door module. Also replaced the REF receiver.

What happens when you go to start it it will not turn over, reset the battery and it will run as long as you want until you turn it off and it sits for several hours. No codes are being thrown while driving. It only loses communication when it sits for a couple hours. Any ideas?

Sounds like your having a POWER issue. What is the status of the battery??

1. How Old is the battery?

2. What kind of battery is it?

3. Are the terminals clean and tight? TORQUES to 11 ft/lbs

4. Have it fully charged and load tested at AUTOZONE/ADVANCED

5. What is the no load battery voltage at the battery terminals?

6. What is the charging voltage when the engine is running?

Please answer those questions.

Yes i remember but its not the same issue. This car does not loose any communication while its running, only when you shut it off. And i have checked all the wiring including the seats.

I think your right Bill on the battery issue. Im putting a fresh battery in it now.
