Default 2001 C5 Vibration

Just put new rims from Bobs House of wheels and a New set of Toyo TR1's on my car. I put the C6 Z06 wheels but I had them roadforced balanced and computer balanced and the machines shows they are balanced but my car still has vibration in the rear area and I'm at a lost to what it could be. I was thinking maybe the drive shaft or half shafts. Thanks for any advice you can share.

I put a new set of wheels and tires on my Corvette this Spring. The wheels are the ZR1 look-a-likes that Tire Rack sells. The wheels have five pads, one at each stud through hole that sets up againest the wheel hub. I noticed one of the five looked like it had grind marks on it that were there before the wheel was crome plated. I put a stright edge across this pad to compare to the other four. It was about 3/16 of an inch shy of the stright edge. A call to Tire Rack had a new wheel and tire on its way and the bad one was shipped back.

Bottom line, you need to really check the wheels over before installing them. Even after installing rotate the wheel to make sure it runs true.
