Manual Reset Hvac Actuators
I have been trying to locate in this forum how to manually reset my hvac actuators? I had the dealership (GM) diagnose my hot on pass side cold on drivers side problem they told me it needed a new control head (due to erratic behavior) I should of known better as Now i have replaced the contoller @ a high cost with no changes. when I pull codes it all the same, clear them again and again pulled hvac fuses etc etc . Now they say I May need to do a Manual reset of the actuators or replace them, I figured this was the culprit in the first place . Manual reset? I suppose this will also incude pulling the dash pad? Any help would be great? I was told that ONLY a 98-99 controller would work but have also read somewhere that a 2001 controller would plug and play and automatically reset the actuators? Gm says no way??

I used a controller from an 04 and fixed my issue...I didn't feel like trying to cram my hands up in there to get to that little damn box
