Default Another Happy Titanium Owner

Hey Guys,
Just had my stock exhaust swapped out with a ZO6 exhaust. Slight subtle difference at idle, very sweet at WOT and they look 1000% better. Sorry for the poor pictures.

I admit that it looks 100% better but the sound doesn't change enough for me so I went with the Corsa Pace Car system.

You are absolutely right, the sound doesn't change all that much. I can tell the difference at WOT but the difference is really subtle at idle.

For 300 bucks though, I think it was a great mod.

That lift you show there, is it harbor freight? How do you like it?

The lift is actually Rick's (VetteTech81). I think he mentioned that he got it from Harbor Freight. Hit him up on the boards for his opinion on the lift.

Here are some more pics of the lift in action. Sorry for the tilt.

If you add an X-pipe and replace the cats with free-flow units, you'll have a nice, fairly aggressive sound under throttle, but still be quiet at highway speeds. That's what I have and I couldn't be happier.

I'm sure it'll get even louder with headers. I didn't want to go that far with mine as it's just a cruiser, not a "racer". Besides, the louder you get the more challengers you'll meet. If that's what you're looking for you can't beat longtubes. Eventually, I plan on a set of shorties with an LS6 manifold, and that will probably be the end of my engine tweaks (already have the VR-B2 with Power Duct). No matter how much power you put down, there will always be someone out there with more. Besides, I can get in about as much trouble with 350hp as anyone with 600hp. Where does it all end?

Love mine! No drone, good flow, and nice sound when you romp on it.

Find a titanium welder and get a better howl at WOT without losing the "civilized" characteristics of the Ti cat back....

You just missed a guy selling titanium piping. I guess it requires special welding though. I've heard of quite a few people doing the bypass.
