Column Lock issue

Yes I read the sticky. 2000 FRC w/6 speed. Column lock data on the DIC. Checked terminals on battery cleaned and charged battery. Same issue, car kills due to fuel shut off. Pulled fuse 25 on passsenger floor board restarted car same issue. Called dealer as I did not know if recalls were done and they indicated it had been in twice for column issue. Once in 01 and again in 06. Not sure what to do next??? If i add the column bypass will this resolve the issue or does it need to go to the dealer? Any other remedy for this issue?

Installed column lock bypass from Corvettes of Houston and I am back on the road. A huge thank you goes out to 8vette7 for all of the assitance in tracking this one down.

How much on average is the CLB going for and where should I get it from? The 'tricks' to keep the car on the road don't work anymore and I need to pick one up.

I got mine from the same place and it was ordered on Monday and I got it on Friday. Very happy to be back on the road and happy that I could solve the problem this way.
