could this be a problem?
I have a set of AFR 205cc heads that are used and i have not spent any money on them yet. They are a buddies who bought them used and i am thinking about getting them. I was looking them over and noticed that the valves and some of the combustion cambers have numbers on them. It appears that someone may have taken them apart to clean them before selling them to my buddy and did this to make sure everything matched up lol. I planned on sending them to Tony Mamo at AFR for his porting so i am not sure if that would just remove the numbers. i guess it would depend on how much metal he removes and the depth of the numbers. What are your guys thoughts? Here are some pics of the heads.

I don't see it as a problem. Any disassembly due to the Cnc work being performed I'm sure will be reversed for reassembly by a professional who will be sure to put everything back like it was in a professional manner. I don't see there being anything to worry about. Get em shipped and get em installed!!!
