Ok. I have a 1999 FRC. I just installed a Vortech V-2, Inter-cooler, 42# Injectors, P&P'd 243 heads, a SC cam, LS-6 intake, long tube headers and fuul exhaust, Z06 Ti mufflers, and such. I purchased almost all of the components off of a wrecked C5-Z06 of an unknown year. I had thought, silly me, that the PCM from the Z06 would just bolt right into my '99 and I would have the proper tune without too much trouble. Nope. They are two different units. The bracketry is different and while the connector positions are reversed, and they will plug in, the BCM learn procedure did not work.
I started her up and went for a test ride with the stock '99 FRC tune. I did not get on it more than softly but the power difference is great.
Now for the 64 dollar question. Can I get the newer PCM to work? Is there any way to retrieve the tune from the SC PCM by way of connecting it into the system and use my new HPTuners stuff to download it? Or am I stuck and need to tune the old PCM and sell the new one?

Anyone have several clues for sale?
TIA everyone!

Ackkkkk....
My naivete embarrasses me yet again...
The PCM is listed as a 97-98 and it came out of what looked to me to be a Z06 so I made the mistake of assuming incorrectly. I will research the Vette hierarchy and attempt to familiarize myself sufficiently as to not make similar foolish comments.
