Well, I got my car back after the gear and cam install. I had a set of 4.10 installed and a 224/228 114+2 Cam. I had the work done at Cunningham Motorsports and the guys there were great. Once I get the dyno results I'll post but they said it was around 360 RWHP.
The first set of gears whined excessively and the guys at CMS got the manufacturer to get a new set. The second set was as quiet as stock. I can't wait to get through the break in but I can already feel the difference.
As for the sound, the car is quite a bit louder and sounds mean as hell. It has a slight lope and the car has a good shake at idle. Before the cam I thought the Corsa Extreme wasn't very extreme sounding. After the cam, they are extreme. I love it. I'll post again once I get the gears broken in and I can really get on it.
Did they dyno with the new gears? According to DTE, that invalidates the warranty on their differentials. If they did, that is one reason the numbers are a little low. With that cam and the gears, numbers sound about right to me.
