But.... after looking at where it would be and how easy it was I grabbed a hole saw and made it a 10 minute job. EDIT: I would slide a sheet of something under where you may be cutting the hole for safety.I still feel embarassed to tell anyone I did it that way though.
Dont be...its probably going to happen again and you can just replace it in less than 2 min.
Thanks guys for all the tips, did it without intake removed. No holes cut in the car, just a little skin off the knuckles. Advanced sells a nice 1 1/16 deep well socket that worked great. I agree also that taking off the intake may be the way to go. I might have saved myself 30 minutes by not taking it off.
