I had intake off to repl crack last summer - dry as a bone. Good luck with resolution.

Is it possible to measure the Crankcase pressure? I've no idea what it should be or not be.

When we set up NOS systems with carbs, I'm not referring to auto world here. A small amount of NOS pressure is bleed to the float bowls of the carbs, that is is measured with a mamometer...water column stuff. That maybe the way carb automotive systems are done as well I don't know.

I don't know what cc pressure should be, if it is very low it could be measured that way. Easier than a leak down.

Then the next question in my mind is it possible to have correct crank case pressure & the Oil rings not controlling the oil?

Just trying offer some idea's

Thanks for the ideas CTD. Major bummer really, especially considering how much this motor cost. Brand new motor that has leaky head gaskets and burns more oil than gas is not what I was planning on.
