Key Fobs issues.
I have been watching Key Fob problems on the Fourm, but here is a
different one.
My 1999 locks & unlocks for no reason. Noticed this while car was in garage. Changed batteries, bought new Fob from dealer, problem
is with all 3 Fobs I have. Finally removed batteries in Fobs.
Checked with Dealer and they had no idea at the time, but I could
bring it in and they would look into it. Not what I wanted to do.
Any ideas??

it works for me. if im close to the car it unlocks and when i walk away it locks with out pushing any buttons but if im near the car to long itll keep unlocking and locking.. does get annoying but it is nice to have the car unlock for you if your hands are full or something
Look in OPTIONS and FOB and turn the passive OFF and slide the FOB PASSIVE/ACTIVE switch to off also.

Believe it or not, good old pocket dust will cause this mode to turn back on. Blow it out and slide the switch on and off several times will make it work normally again in the off mode.
