Horn issue
My horn stopped working in my 99 convert. I'd don't honk much except when in parking lots and I see backup lights come on, but horn is tied into alarm system and needed to pass inspection. Dealer says this is a $900 fix since the horn is tied into the air bag. I'm stunned. Is there a work around for this? thanks, 8birds

Both of my horns went bad. thought it was the membrane switch so I replaced it and they still didn't work. Put 12volts DC on your horns and see if they work. Also, can you hear the relay click when you press the horn button? If it is your membrane I can sell you one cheap. It's very easy to replace the switch.
