Backfire after longtube header install.
Hey guys I just did a good amount of upgrades to the car. MTI cam, UD pulley, Borla stinger exhaust and a set of tpis longtube headers. I just installed the headers today and the car backfires when I go in reverse for some reason. It doesn't have cats anymore and the air tubes were deleted as well. Do you all plug the hose that leads to the airfilter? I traced it and it went from my air tubes to my vararram intake. Is it because its too lean? Any help would be great. I need a tuner in SC really bad!!! Thanks Jay.

The air tube hose gos to your air pump and then your air cleaner and it will not do anything it is air pump you can take all of it off but unless you unplug the pump under your left front headlight I would not do anything with it
