Default 2003 Battery

I think the battery I need is the AC Delco 75-7yr professional but I see a lot of guys going with the 78-7yr. What is the difference in the 75 vs 78 series, and what will work in my 2003?

Thanks for any help with this...

might be slight difference in physical dimensions.

The 78 series has 770 cold crank amps, 120 reserve cap.
The 75 series has 735 cold crank amps, 100 reserve cap.

Recheck these numbers on a delco site, I had these written down from when I was battery hunting awhile back.

Either should be fine, I'd stick the 78 series in just for the added reserve capacity.

Imlay City MI - haven't been through there in years, ex Rochester MI resident.

Had an Optima, it always needed something...a blanket, a charge, occassionally warm milk...it was always needy. I now use a Delco 78 and never have to think about my battery being "in the mood" to start the car.
