A/C belt replacement
I know there are tons of post on this topic. But I wanted to post about a trick I used to pull the tensioner back when installing the new A/C belt. I just tackled this job yesterday on my father in laws 2000 coupe. What a PIA job...geez, especially with no lift and no serpentine belt tool. Car has 87,000 miles, belt shredded and looks as though it bent the tensioner when it flew off. Upon further inspection, the tensioner was deffinetly ready for replacement. Anyway, I used a ratchet strap and looped it from the tensioner pulley bolt down to a breaker bar I placed horizontally from the front mono spring to the engine oil pan. I was able to pull the belt tensioner down completely, placed the belt exactly where it needed to go, then released the tensioner. It worked awesome. This is a tight area so any tricks are good to know.
