Check to see if you're getting 12v at the connector (the blower motor is under the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle, you have to remove the kick panel and the plastic underdash panel to get to it). If you are, and the fuse isn't blown, try applying 12v directly to the fan. If it doesn't move, a replacement is about $75. If it does move, you might have a switch or a resistor problem. (probably the former, a bad resistor usually makes the fan not run on certain speeds).

I actually kinda forget, it's either attached to the motor itself or very close by. If your fan doesn't work at any speed it's probably not the resistor. For example, in my truck, I lost fans speeds 1, 2 and 3 but 4 and 5 still worked. Replacing the resistor fixed the issue.

Default If you have auto dual control its a pricy module

Ask me why I know this. Blew the 30Amp fuse
motor OK. Was the module. Paid about $80 wholesale.

When this happened to my 2001 Coupe, it turned out to be the motor itself, burned an open in the winding. Took awhile though, as the open was intermittent. Pull the blower plug and check with 12V across the pins or pull the blower itself and bench check. Takes 10 minutes to get out.

Default Bad Blower or Control Module

I have a 2001 Coupe with dual zone, my blower stopped working so I removed the blower and control module. I tested the blower on a 12V source it worked fine, disassembled the control module and visually inspected and it looked fine (was unable to reinstall the black spring clip), then electrically connected the control module and blower in the foot well with the cage facing upward and everything was working so I reassembled and the AC worked fine for about a week but now I am getting an intermittent blower. The question is do I have bad blower or bad controller?

Ok I was having intermittent problems with my blower last month.
did all the reading on this forum and decided to pull the motor down and the resistor. I have the duel climate system. I hot wired the motor and it worked. I figured I was going to have to replace the resistor $140-200 bucks. I live in Houston and it was hot. So I was going to just hot wire it with a switch until I could find a resistor.

OK here is the really weird thing. I had the resistor and motor down on the floor board connect to the existing wiring. It worked. I started moving wires and it would stop. So I tried to isolate the wire that was not making connection and to my surprise it was when the motor was touching the body control module and making ground it worked. I checked the ground wire in the resistor plug and did not get a solid continuity.

I have been having all kinds of code from all over the car so I did figure I needed to check and clean all the ground points.

In the mean time i just made a ground wire under the dash to the motor and the fan works perfect!!
