I am about to maybe purchase Autotap. I was wondering a few things.
1. Does it work with Windows XP?
2. Can you use it on multiple cars?
3. Do you need Microsoft Excell to read it?
4. Can a normal Computer joe with slightly above average geek skills work this thing?
Thanks!
1. I am assuming it will work fine on Windows XP in DOS mode but am not 100% sure.
2. Yes you can use it on as many cars as you desire that use the ODBII interface such as ours, fbodies, etc...
3. No, Autotap outputs the logged data into a comma delimmited text file which can be viewed with any text editor. Excel just makes it MUCH nicer to view and manipulate the data to extract the information you are looking for.
4. Yes, it is not real difficult at all to use. It requires less computer skills to operate than it does knowledge about electronically controlled automobiles.
Let me know if you have any more questions, or if you are interested in pricing on autotap! :D
Thanks Matt. I just realised, I guess I need a laptop! Bummer! I just bought a new mega fast desktop! I need to get these settings on my AFR1 set, nobody in this town can do it! :mad :mad

I will be bringing my autotap and laptop with me to Bowling Green for the Cruise-in. We can do some logging and analysis with it while we are there and adjust AFR1 accordingly.
