Do you know if the maf can be installed directly into the front of the varam power duct and if the coupler from the powerduct to the tb im guessing a 3.75"-4" is long enough to have the aftermarket air bridge installed in the correct position.

I tried the installation with the MAF next to the TB and the air filter. When the MAF was near the TB it got hot and the intake temperatures were way above ambient. This can reduce power because the PCM will retard the timing when the intake temperatures are high. When it was next to the air filter the temps were at ambient. In it's current position next to the air filter, the MAF and the Vararam air bridge both connect with a coupler. I believe that when the MAF was near the TB the Vararam air bridge connected directly to the MAF. It actually fits better when mounted near the TB and it was probably designed to be mounted that way. Vararam does not recommend mounting it that way. I found this out after calling technical support for my lean codes.
