Default Power Windows Problem 98 C5

Hi All. Both of my windows are stuck in the down position. They worked fine all weekend until today. I do not hear any sounds when I try to put either the driver or passenger window up. And neither the driver or passenger window switches work. This leads me to believe I have a fuse problem, but I can't seem to find which fuse controls the windows.
Can anyone help with this? Thank you in advance.

Anyone? I read the owner's manual, but don't see where the fuse for the power windows is located. I've also read the forum, but it seems most of the people with a similar problem have the windows stuck in the up position. And they mostly have a problem with one window, not two. I'm not sure the Fonzi/Banging method is appropriate here. Any ideas on a solution? Thanks again.

Strange, I didn't see a specific fuse(s) listed for the window(s). Try fuses 30, 31, 33, 34. The manual states they are fed by circuit breakers which will reset when whatever problem goes away. Obviously, I don't know where they are.

Thanks Dgrant. I went through the manual too, and like you couldn't find a fuse specifically for the windows. As stated in my original post, both windows have the problem and it happened at the same time. I don't hear a noise when I push either the driver or passenger switch and this leads me to believe there is no power getting to them. I assume this is a fuse problem. I'll try your suggestion today. Thanks again.

So... I pulled all the fuses and they were all fine. The window problem continued for a few more hours afterwards and then suddenly they started working again. Must be those damn gremlins...... In addition, a few more electrical bugs are popping in and out and I suspect this is related to ground issues. Might be time to brush up on my Bill Curlee reading.

Default Driver side window not working

Uncovered fuse box under passenger dashboard and pulled fuses 30, 31, 33 and 34. All the fuses were good, but must have made better contact. Works fine now. Still trying to get passenger side to work since battery replaced. Hear relay clicking from switch on either side, but won't roll down. Will try percussion technique.

Both windows worked fine when I bought the car 8 months ago. Has had little use - 25,600 miles on 2003. Was moved from NJ to FL.

There are no fuses labled windows. Those 4 fuses provide all the power for door functions.

There are NO circuit breakers for the door. Would like to see where you saw that in the manual, The seats motors have them.
