transmission problem
My C5 recently flashed on the instrument panel that the fluid in the transmission was too hot, shortly thereafter the car begin to shift roughly. Has anyone experienced this? It just shifts hard for the first initial shift. Then it seems to shift normally. Help!

I would check to see that you don't have debris, etc .. clogged in your radiator. I would also recommend you getting fluid changed as you probably cooked the fluid some driving it that way.

There have been a number of threads that have the same issue you have. They seem to lead to the valve body in the transmission. You might verify that you have sufficient fluid and/or have it changed if it needs it. What transmission fluid temps did you see on the DIC? Good luck!
