How can I tell if I need to change diffential fluid?
Are there any noises, or other symptoms? It's an A4 and I am at 58k summer miles over a 15 year run...

I changed mine at 78,000 miles, ten years. The old oil was dirty.
Easy to do.
I use Redline in the engine, trans (auto) and differential.

thanks guys...I will change it now even without symptoms...I have the GM fluid with the additive already mixed in...should be equivalent to the other brands, right?
