Short of using a needle to inject lube into each rubber boot, is there any way to lube the chassis joints? I had a terrible squeek on the drivers side rear suspension. I raised the car, loosened the bolt for the lower a arm? and sprayed silicone lubricant , then re tightened the bolt. Squeek is gone but I would like to lubricate all other fittings. Thanks
Sorry I can help with the chassis joint lube issue, but I have a suggestion for you to try to get rid of some squeaks. On my C5Z, I had a creaky-squeaky noise when the suspension traveled. It was coming from both the front and the rear, so it ruled out a U-joint issue (I don't have an AWD Z06!). It was worse when it was hot, and it was driving me insane! I hit the forum and scoured through a bunch of really great ideas. The one I settled on was that my anti roll bar bushings were to blame. I used spray silicone and hit the bushings really well - squeak was gone! If you haven't tried this yet, they're really easy to reach. Good luck.

I'm curious to know what exactly you meant. Which bolt did you remove? how did you get lube into an area that helped?
I had a nasty squeak for a long time. I think I fixed it with a new tie rod end and new swabyars complete with new end links and bushings. it was a nice upgrade at the same time. I haven't heard a sound in a few weeks, but prior to that I did still hear it a couple of times. just in case this comes back and I need some new way to try to fight it...
I'll have to look up a diagram, but the bolt I loosened is at the upper A arm suspension, it has a rubber bushing and when I sprayed the silicone lube in it, it seemed to quiet the squeek. I sprayed every piece of rubber I saw at the time. The poster prior to yours also added some good info that I will look at next time I put the car up. Thanks for the reply

I've had several C5 s and I have found that most times the creaking/squeaking comes from the swaybar bushings. Just loosen the swaybar bolts and lube the rubber grommets... hope this helps
Sway bars are the typical culprit. I used Teflon tape on my last installation, no noise since. Won't use "lube" again. Plus the Teflon tape is not messy.

I was skeptical about Teflon but it cured my front suspension popping sound. Recommended!
