I had new tires installed yesterday - Now the gauge says Left front - 0 Pressure - do no drive over 55 MPH or whatever - I can remove the message but it comes back - even on the HUD it says check gauges - hit reset & it goes away for a few miles - but come back - Rest of the tires read without issue.
So how do I fix this - I let all the air out of the tire & refilled it a couple of times, thinking it might jar something - but still have the problem -
Thanks - tom
It says to press reset to clear any warnings? - Mine won't clear the warning -
I can go to options & get a blank screen & do the rest of the steps but but this doesn't help my problem -
I guess if I can't clear the warnings - I might be screwed?????
I'll go out and mess with it some more - tom
In the context of doing the TPMS reset, you're just clearing the "door ajar" and getting to the blank screen. If going through and resetting all the sensors with a magnet doesn't cause the sensor that's reading 0 PSI to clear and give a good pressure reading, you're going to have to replace the sensor in that wheel, I'm afraid...

door jar goes away when i hit reset but it then goes to the 0 pressure message again? once it's on o pressure the reset does nothing? press it 10 times & it still says the same zero message - won't go to a blank message board?

Hmm... In that case, I think you need to let the TPMS go to "sleep", and I can't remember how long you have to let the car sit before that happens. Perhaps somebody with an owners manual handy can answer that question.

I just looked in the owners manual Paul - didn't see anything about that - maybe in a shop manual?

Hey Paul - what if I disconnected the battey - would that help the TPMS get the rest it needs or would that just open up other issues?
tom
Here's another thought. What if they programmed the sensors (or put them in a different position if they didn't program) and one of your tires really has no pressure? Did you check with a gauge to see if your other three tires had pressure? This is assuming runflats.

I went with Stones - non-runflats this time - nope - all the tires have 30 lbs in them - tom
I can get a blank screen & I can get the "Learn Left Front Tire" message to come up - But I can't get there the way Paul did in his video -
Since I "can" get the "Learn Left Front Display" message to come up - should I still be able to re-program regardless of how I got there?
I tried 3 different magnets - they are strong but I don't have a round one like Paul used in his video -
I'll go & try to find one if someone thinks it's worth a shot?
I would take it back to whoever installed your tires. They may have damaged it when they did the tires, not uncommon if they were careless or in a hurry. Most tire shops should also be able to program your sensors for you.
I would think if it beeps, recognizing the magnet/sensor, you would be fine and to continue on around the other tires. You don't need a round magnet, just one that is strong enough, I used a speaker magnet to do mine.
