If you have ever needed to fix the Oil Level Switch due to the wires being melted, this migt help. I had to do this repair but my wire were gone at the plug, no way to repair . After trying to find a pigtail with no luck I noticed that the underhood light (that I was not using) is exactly the same . I ended up cutting off the plug end and spliced the wires and presto no more problem. I will now look for a repacement for the light just because I dont like to have anything not working .

....so you fixed one problem....by purposely creating another? The pigtails are readily available, and probably could have had one shipped to your door by Tuesday.......

From what I found it looks like your best bet is going to be an AC Delco PT-374 (GM # 12102747) connector pigtail for that plug.
