Default left seat track

Is there a quick and easy fix to the driver seat track so it doesn't slide back and forth.

Not too hard. Its a very common problem. Do a search, you will find a DIY guide. The seat moves back and forth on two long screws. The nuts have a rubber isolator around it, and the rubber disintegrates, and then you have .2" of slop. Replace rubber with aluminum washer or similar. You have to remove the seat, but that is pretty easy. Supposedly, it can be done without removing the ***** between the upper and lower tracks, but I read that after doing it the old fashioned way ( spreading the tracks to remove the *****). If you end up removing the *****, just make sure you do it in a clean, uncluttered location, so when the ***** fall on the floor and roll away, you will be able to find them. Also, keep track of where the nut is (axially) on the screw. The inboard and outboard tracks need to stay accuratley in phase ( not one nut 1/2" in front of the other)
