Best advice is take it easy the first couple of runs....Don't be mashing the pedal on the green ..your just going to spin your e.t away. If you have active handling or traction control...push the button for 5 seconds before you stage and drive in competitive mode. Try loading the brake and gas to about 1300 rpms and take off firmly but not crazy ..once you have traction ..now floor it. Run in 3 NOT OD and keep it floored to the wall until you cross the traps. ....your set, HAVE FUN! :smash: If you turn low to mid 13's your doing good. My first run stock was a 13.56@103 with a 60' of 2.06. Keep trying new things and try to figure out the traction. It's ALL in the traction:yesnod:
If you have a jack and can get the slicks on ...great . If you can't don't worry about it. It's your first time and your still learning the track.:D
My first pass was the best 13.4. I cut a 2.0 60' on the stock EMT's with 3/4 tank of gas and 35 psi!
Turns out the drag slicks wouldn't fit right. They were 16" rims with the same bolt pattern, we put one on, but it wouldn't turn????? So no luck there. Do I have to use 17" C4 rims to drag on?
