Headlights ?

Headlights ?
Ok, I know its in here somewhere, 1997 C5 headslight won't come on.
I have jumped at the connection under the hood where they go to the lights & motor. THE lights raised up no lights. Checked all the fuses #3 and #4.... Once they are up I can turn them off at the switch inside and they go down..... I also jumped to the lights and they work.
Also when I pull on the dimmer switch to flash them they come on...
I have dash,taillights .................
I am thinking the switch needs to be replaced??????
The switch is over $200. just want to make sure that is the problem!
