aftermarket shift knobs & stock knob lock pins

aftermarket shift ***** & stock **** lock pins
Can anyone tell me if any of the aftermarket shift ***** use the lock pin from the stock **** that's such a pain to remove initially? I think I'd rather retain the stock lock pin than go the Loctite route with an aftermarket ****.

Mine screwed on and didn't use the pin (THANK GOD!). That little pin was a pain in the butt. I love my Phantom Carbon Fiber shift ****, now if my Hurst shifter would only get here!!!
