Somehow the PCM now thinks you have the RTD option and is limiting you to 80mph / 128kph because it is malfunctioning. Did you have any tuning or a new PCM exchanged or reflashed recently? A GM Tech-II scanner can turn on and off options like RTD in the PCM regardless of what the car originally was built with. Do you know the history of your car and its mods? As 8VETTE7 says, please pull all your codes and post them here.
If you have a module in the left-most trunk compartment, that is the RTD controller. If you have normal non-RTD shocks with the RTD controller, you must have shock simulators or resistors plugged in to fool the RTD controller. If these were all hooked up and working (until now), the PCM would have thought you had RTD but it had no affect on the handing of your car.
You either need to reinstate the RTD controller & simulators, or find a Tech-II to remove the RTD option, or undo your most recent change if possible. The "NO COMM" means the RTD controller is not seen, likely a fuse or loose cable. Hope this helps.
I miss those French patisseries & fromageries. Can't wait to get back to Europe when our kids get a bit older.
