I wased my 1999 engine, after wards i cut it off , let it (finish)drying, and the next day it started right up, BUT the thing wss squeeking or chirping a little , so spray silicone lubricant on the belt (which I had done another time something was squeeking and it stopped it)
this time, a pulley on the passenger side of the motor flopped over and it seized the belt
My local mechanic came by and saw that the silicone spray had made the belt fall off, and that was why the tensioner pulley snapped out and banged. put the belt back on, and all is well. thanks for helping
smart a**, i thought i could get help here not an old sr. jerk that ridicules.
did you not see that I was in a hurry and made some mistakes, have you never done that?and the lube was for the noisy pully, which did help last time until I washed it again. I was seeking advise not an english class .
go drive your car!
or can you do that up on that rack?

Your spelling and English isn't getting any better. And my car drives just FINE, unlike yours.
oh now we have a NON helping , not knowing how to drive lady...
spell away, i will still win.
Hmmm....perhaps you don't understand, that a rubber belt requires friction with the pulleys, and is under tension.....so spraying a lubricant on the belt completely defeats the purpose.
that just sounds dirty. seriously though, this style you are writing in is better suited for a Fast and Furious Honda forum. It makes you sound like you are 16 and not well educated.
