01 Intermittently turns off while driving PLS HELP
Sometimes while driving, my 01 six speed, with 90,000 miles intermittenly turns off. I know its not fuel because its too immediate when it turns off, then it turns itself back on and is fine. Could this be a bad coilpack? or ignition switch? I don't think its a loose wire because it happens on a smooth highway. I've gone over bumpy roads and its fine. I replaced the starter thinking it was the solenoid, but the problem remains. Any ideas on how I can begin to diagnose this?

If theres NO DTCs,,, I would agree that its turning OFF on its own. Follow this post and Repair your IGNITION SWITCH!

Bill beat me to it, but also look to your battery fittings, fasteners, and your main fuses (the big ones in the fuse box in the pass. footwell). One of my main ignition power fuses (the 60A big ones) would occasionally loosen and the car would die. I put in a small shim which fixed it.
