so i bought an stock h pipe and stock manifold from two different places just want to get a confirmation of what years they are 97-00 or 01+

In 2000 the California and New England (NY, Mass, etc cars had the Pups. All other areas (Texas for sure) did not have them.
In 2001, all C5's (including Z06) had Pups.
In 2002 the Z06 lost them, but the LS1 retained them through '04.

I'll have to check, I have a 99 stock H-pipe and manifold hanging in the garage.

The manifolds look like they are the same as mine.
I do not have any cans welded to my H-pipe in the back, only the flang plate. Other than that it looks the same so it should bolt up.

Member Bill Curlee helped me out to figure this for my '99...

I found that Magnaflow's Cat that they sell - will NOT fit on stock headers for a 97-99 Vette - the sensor location & something else [I'm not a mechanic...] get in the way.

those are 97-00 manifolds. You can tell via the passenger side as the AIR flange is back further (moved forward a primary in 01-04) along with the hole for the dipstick tube to bolt (in 01-04 it bolts to the head, not the manifold)
