My water pump was on it's way out and my Low Coolant message came on. So, I replaced the water pump this weekend and flushed out the system until the water was clear. Filled it up with dex-cool and distilled water. The car is running great. The engine max temp is around 210, but that Low Coolant message is still coming on. Is there an easy fix or will I have to buy a new surge tank? Can I just unplug the sensor and bypass it?

Well, I tried some things this morning before heading to work. I added a little more distilled water to the surge tank, jiggled and pushed on the sensor connector and lightly tapped around the sensor. When I started it up, I didn't get the Low Coolant message. I drove all the way to work and turned it off and still no message! I'm hoping it's finally gone. If it does come back on, I will probably do the bypass thing.
