98 Vette Tranny Fluid Question

Wanting to change out my fluid in my 98 Vette MN6 would it be ok to swap it to Torque-Drive™ Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATD)? Thanks.

I've had Amsoil ATD in my M6 for the last several years and over 50K miles. Smooth shifting - cold or hot.

yes, that is what I plan on doing after I place a order and buy some race ramps.

Yep, it is okay. I used Mobil 1 ATF in my 1998 for 50,000 miles, it started grinding going into 6th gear. Switched to Amsoil Torque-Drive™ Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid and it was immediately okay. Has been okay for 39.000 miles now.

DO NOT USE MOBIL 1 ATF in a 1997-2000 C5 with paper blocker rings.
