Default Exhaust Clamps

I have a used Corsa titanium exhaust I am installing on my coupe and some of the clamps are giving me trouble. From searching, it looks like it's common for old clamps to give out on these things so I was wondering what the recommended replacement clamp would be. Should I just get some standard T-Bolt clamps or something more like a Lap/Band clamp (examples here and here)? Any recommendations on good, reliable brands? I would love to just have it welded up but I have been unable to find any titanium welders where I live. Any tips are appreciate. Thanks.

I used the Dynomax 3in band clamps, they work great on the x-pipe

Great, thanks for the tips. Any idea if using stainless steel clamps on titanium pipes will be a problem?

I dont see how that would be a problem as from the factory the z06 titanium exhaust bolts up to the stainless H-pipe, also I have heard excellent reviews for torctite clamps. I actually just purchased 6 3" clamps for my headers as the supplied ones didnt tighten up enough. One huge benefit that the torctite clamps have is you only need to use one wrench to tighten them I havent had a chance to install them yet but they look pretty nice. You probably dont need anything real fancy to get yours to seal as the walls are probably much thinner and I think titanium is softer too.

I used band clamps on my Corsa Indy exhaust and they worked great! You can also loosen them later if you want to adjust your exhaust or remove it later to put in a tunnel plate or drop the torque tube.

I have that same system, also purchased used. It came with T bolt style clamps. I found an article from Corvette Fever, and looking at the pictures, it appears that is what Corsa provided with the system. That's not to say other clamps won't work. I'm wondering if band clamps like the Torctite clamps have enough adjustment to compensate for the thin wall Titanium tubing.
Also from what litttle I know about welding Titanium, it would be difficult to weld the system when it is installed. The surfaces must be CLEAN and the surface being welded needs to be backed up with Argon gas. I'm not a welder, so I'm just repeating what was told to me.

Default Exhaust clamps

I used Band clamps on my Borla XR1 system and am very happy with the look and function.
