Question on Transmission swap

I just had my 2000 vert transmission swaped out (at 186,000 miles) my question is; does the PCM need adjustment after a swap? Shifting seems a bit different than I remember the original. a little later and a little sooner on downshifts for the new rebuilt trans. Not getting codes and other than this slight perception every thing OK.

No tuning should required when just swapping to a rebuilt transmission. Although slightly raising the line pressure and custom tuning the shift points are always a plus on any car.
