Default Plug Wires

Okay - can't find the answer on here... Do changing plug wires from stock make any difference other than aesthetics?

If so, can you please help me understand?

Provided they are a quality construction....no. If you search, you'll find about 10 years of discussion on this subject.

Thanks -- I've been searching, but keep finding posts on plug wires for sale - not the merits of buying new ones

I think as long as your stock plug wires are in good shape (not too old, cracked, etc.) then the difference would likely be visual only.

Not sure about FI engines with massive boost though.

It doesn't hurt to change plugs/wires though as the cost is fairly low.
