STOP LEAK is formulated to plug pin holes and small leaks in a LIQUID SYSTEM that contains a water based fluid.
Your rear-end is leaking because of a worn seal, excessively worn hard parts or damaged gaskets. The rear contains a viscous lubricant that protects sliding surfaces (faces of the gears and ball bearings). Adding the SOLID particles in stop leak to a mechanical rear-end would contaminate and interfere with the lubricating properties of the 90 weight. You think you have problems now,, adding that stuff, you may need a NEW REAR!
The OLD TIMER procedure of adding saw dust and or bananas to the rear-end to QUITE it down would fall into the same category!
PLEASE DONT DO IT! My guess is you have a PINION SEAL leak. Just find the correct procedure and replace the seal.

You could check the websites for LUCAS OIL or JUSTICE BROTHERS for products. If it were me, I'd use such a product only as a temporary measure until the correct repair can be made.
thank you, it leak a couple drops a day. i think it is link from the middle seal that connects to driveshaft. do you know if I can replace that seal with removing the entire gearbox?
