rear end vibration..

rear end vibration..
99 vert 100k miles auto.
My alignment is off and I have a NON consistent vibration. It vibrates like every other half second? weird. It does not feel like the wheels need to be balanced its hard to explain but I feel it in the rear. The steering wheel does not vibrate. I had the front rotors balanced and resurfaced but not the rears.
I read on here some guys have replaced the rear tie rods and that fixed the issue. I checked my rear tie rods, ball joints and bearings. The left rear bearing is a TINY but loose but that's it.
I am confused as to what to do. The ball joints ect are all original still. I dont want to get an alignment, balance and it still shake then replace tie rods ect and have to pay again for the alignment.
Should I just replace the rear bearing and see what happends?
