Which is the best way to lower a C5:
Bolts and Bilstien shocks? or Install a set of fully adjustable coil overs?
I'm planning a 19/20 setup. Any help would be great.
Depending on how low you want to go, you will be able to lower your car about an 1" using the stock bolts. If you go to the tech tips section it will tell you step by step how to do it, very easy. If you are going 19/20 setup you should be able to get it low enough this way.Do not cut the bushings in the rear, there is no need to.I would recomend the Bilstien's also. In my opinion, coil overs are way too much money. If you do it the the way I said above all it will cost you is the price of the shocks(around$270).If you need more help you can e-mail me.
Check the sig! Keep in mind that I have 30 series tires so my fenders look higher above the tires than the car actually is. I want my suspension to be able to travel.
