MTI 422
How many people have done this package, or know someone who has? My car is scheduled to be in Houston on the 29th of June for the install. I know I'm going to be extremely happy, just wondering how others felt about the package.

Hey, Chip! Welcome to the Forum from another Georgia boy! :seeya
Nevrenuf (Tom Garland) who is north of Atlanta has that setup. I'm sure he'd be glad to discuss it with you if you contact him. Tom's a great guy and our local Zaino distributor.
Maybe he'll pipe in here or do a search in the Neighbor locator for Georgia members.

I know several people who have had MTI packages, and not one complaint. Living in Houston, and being pretty well connected to the Corvette scene, I think I would have heard if there were any real problems.

Mine is a 422. I have yet to get it back here to Hawaii but I can say that working with MTI has been great. Almost everything about this journey to make a beast has been a royal pain in the ****, MTI however, has shown me nothing but patience and are real professionals!! :smash: :smash:

Thanks for the replies. I agree with everyone who said good things about MTI. They really are a class act so far. Great customer service and a pleasure to deal with over the phone. I just wish they could get me in quicker...June 29 is going to seem like a year!!

I am always impressed by how driveable the hydraulic Z07 package is for the amount of power it makes. Also, how clean and professional the job is done. I wish I had the dough.

As a competitor I can freely say you cant go wrong with an MTI motor.Of course I like Nates strokers better but MTI is honest and really knows there stuff and just like Xtreme or LPE you drive away with a tightly built motor great daily driver good warranty and programmed right the 1st time not just sent over night to one of the tuners who will guess his best.
