Default AEM wideband install help....

First off. I've done tons of research here and on ls1tech and can't quite find the answer. With that being said; I'm in the process of wiring up my AEM wideband UEGO 30-4100. The harness that plugs into the gauge has a red, black, white, and blue wires ... I understand red is for a 12v supply, and black is for ground... Where are you guys running the other two? Instruction say WHITE=analog output(connect to any axiliary unit that accepts a 0-5 volt input. BLUE=serial output(connects to a RS-232 com port for hyper terminal data logging). My tuner does use HPtuners . Any info and pics will help. This is my first time dealing with a wideband so be patient with me guys... Thanks. Chad

If you are not logging just tape them up out of the way. If your tuner wants he can use the white wire for input directly into his HPtuners box/cable. Some tuners use a FAST setup and input from tailpipe sensors as they dont typically trust that your WB sensor is accurate. They calibrate and change sensors very often to ensure the reading is correct.

The other wire you can setup to log to a terminal emulator (such as hyperterminal) on your PC.

Bottom line though, if you are not logging you dont need to worry about either of them.
