Default Mid console too hot.

Today I got my car back from my mechanic who changed my two front shocks. I really don't know if this is related to the problem or not, but I'm including it - might be something he disconnected or connected wrong after doing it.
On my way home I felt like the engine has a little bit less power and my mid console was too hot. I know the heat is coming from the engine but I don't remember it being this hot before. When I opened the arm rest I had a couple of quarters there and believe me they were burning. What could be the issue? Also my car has the F55 suspension and the controls for the shocks r right there in front of the arm rest /sport or tour mode/. The shocks are the ones with the Selective magnetic ride control. Can it be something related to the electrical part? I also stuck my finger in the power outlet /I know not a smart idea, but u have to check everything/ and it was burning too.

Thanks guy,

Vick

Hmmm....down on power, and a more heat generated? Could be a plugged cat, or another issue causing a cat to heat up. Post your codes.
