Default Dewitts customer service

bought a Dewitts radiator about two weeks ago and had some questions about the oil by pass option after reading about it on this fourm the vendor that I bought the radiator from never brought this to my attention as an option I called Dewitts to get information on this got no answer I left a message and never recieved a call back so I called the next day , the girl they had answering the phone was kind of a smart *** and then informed me that all of there oil bypass units were sent to Carliyle for a Vette show so there were non avaliable and had no timeframe on when they would be avalible what a way to run a business I just hope there product is better than there customer service.

Default DeWitts

I called them a few months ago. I had pulled a connector off one of my fans. They could not have been nicer or faster with the repair (that was my fault).

Thursday is setup day at Carlisle so you may need to have a little patience until they return middle of next week. Everyone I know (myself included) has had excellent customer service from DeWitts.

In all fairness, Dewitts does have a good reputation within the Corvette community. In the event that they have a employee issue, why not contact Tom directly, and it least give him the opportunity to investigate. If Tom tells you to go **** up a rope(which he won't), then fire away on the forum.

As already stated, there is a push for Carlisle, so many vendors may have a delayed response.

I've owned a Dewitts radiator with the intergrated engine oil cooler for four years. It's been on two different cars now working as advertised without issues under heavy load conditions.
I do not have the bypass mod, I used LPE's oil block and fabricated my own -10 AN SS braided hose sections. I've never experienced a reduction in oil pressure as a result of the EOC installation in either engine on or off the track.

I found Tom great to deal with when I got mine. Maybe they just don't like you.

It is the Carlisle show that causes this as we are all down here today and tomorrow. Christyn doesn't know if we sell them all at the show or return with some extra, so that's probably the vague answer.

I don't use the PM feature here but if you want to email me
tom@dewitts.com or john@dewitts.com with you questions we'll try to get back to you asap

I purchased a DeWitts radiator for my Corvette C5 years ago. Great product. I once had a problem, talked to Tom, and he and his team resolved it immediately. Excellent customer service, product and customer service. If I ever need another performance radiator, he will be the first guy I call. If you had a problem with their customer service, contact Tom (the owner). He will work with you to take care of it. Mike
